In adult world, not such a big deal because two months can go by and not much has changed! But baby world is a whole other thing. She gets so much bigger and -if it's possible- even cuter every day! She's officially smiling!! :) YAY!! And it makes our heart melt every time. She's expected 10.24.11!!<br /><br />We're so excited for all the wonderful things we've been blessed with the past few months and really can't wait for the exciting adventures ahead!<br /><br />While we anxiously await the arrival of our beautiful little girl, we luckily have some pretty fun things to keep us busy to help the time speed by.<br />-Harry Potter 7.2 is coming out in 5 DAYS!!<br />-We're celebrating our 4 Year Anniversary on the 27th- HOLY CRAP!<br />-We have the annual Hutchison Reunion in Bear Lake, ALWAYS a good time.<br />-And if you can believe it, BYU season is getting ready to start again!! Brandon can believe it, it's taking FOREVER to get here! :) We've hit up TJ Maxx so many times we're totally stocked with our BYU gear that -might- last us all season. Ha! So crazy, and exciting!! I've been wanting to go all week! Of course, it happened to be one of the craziest weekends of all time for the two of us! Friday night left us with only time to grab a delicious carmel apple before they closed. Saturday night Brandon filmed a wedding and wasn't able to leave until the bride and groom left at 9. So sweet and willing to help me live my crazy desire to ride a rickety, very sketchy looking Farris Wheel, he rushed home to pick me up to give the carnival another go. We got there at 9:46 and rushed to the ticket booth. Sadly, Sandy City said they had to shut everything down at 10pm so they were no longer selling tickets. Brandon was not about to give up though. He actually walked up to the scary looking carny and bribed him to let us on the ride. Because i have an amazingly talented husband, I decided that my marketing piece had to be a video. So i made a 60-second video on quick, easy, no hair experience-friendly up-dos so that clients can feel confident feeling beautiful on their own. Brandon's amazing!! It was such a simple, perfect video! Then my awesome mom, best friend Martie, and sweet class-mate Mua all agreed to help me out with my before and afters. They were such awesome models and their pictures turned out HOT! So thank you guys SO MUCH for your help!!! I'm super excited that i was able to enter this competition! Kim was an older student at my first school in Wuhan who wasn't an ILP student but we became quick friends with her and another girl Sonia. She came out to America on a work abroad program. It was the best Gateway experience ever! Even Brandon had fun! :) Kim taught him how to say prices in Chinese and even taught him how to count to 1,000! it was a VERY eventful day! And it was so fun to have Brandon meet a little of my China experience! Kim is SUCH an awesome and funny girl we miss her SO much already. <br /><br />My sister and her family moved to Washington in July so Jon could go to law school. Even though we are all SO proud and excited for them, we miss them like CRAZY!!! So my mom and I decided we couldn't stand not seeing them any longer and decided to take a road-trip to go visit them! It was a blast! We made delicious food and saw the fun area where they live. Amy and I even got to go do a session in the Spokane Temple! We also went home and made a real homemade apple pie!! Man..it was just SUCH an awesome trip. I'm glad we got the opportunity to go visit!!<br /><br />Another fun thing that happened this year was Brandon and I became an aunt and uncle again. Brandon's brother and sister-in-law, Luke and Marie, had a cute little boy in October. I left my job at L-3 to finally go to cosmetology school!! We've been having wonderful Saturday's full of BYU games and BBQ's. YW's and YM's is definitely keeping us very busy, and we're loving the tivo and all the fun show's we've been recording. Like Glee, The Office, Community, and House, the Hills, The Biggest Loser, and Survivor...I know it sounds like we need a life. I can't believe that I've never written anything on this here blog! Brandon was so cute to get it all set up for me and put on the videos and that sweet blog heading, picture, thing, with our names, (he's so cute:) ) but I've totally been slacking on my end so I wanted to just write a little telling you all that from here on I'm going to try to keep you all informed on what's up in our little family.<br /><br />This summer was kicked off with a bang!! First of all, in May, Brandon and I became an aunt and uncle to the beautiful Abbie Miller! It's been so much fun going over to see her and play with her, oh she's so CUTE! Brandon's been busy at work getting his new company off the ground, and spending a week in Chicago to do so! I missed him SO much, and I couldn't believe it, while he was there, I got a new job! So sadly, my days at Texas Roadhouse have come to and end. His band, Cabbages and Kings, finally had their debut and sounded incredible! Don't worry, if you missed it they'll be performing again later this summer! He's also been busy breaking in the golf courses around Salt Lake, visiting one at least 3-4 times a week to brush up on his mad skills. In fact, today I'm so proud to say that my very own husband shot a 38 (+2) at Murray Parkway! Dude he's so HOT! We've also had so much fun catching all the summer flicks, watching FRIENDS from the beginning (we're currently on season 7), playing Rockband on the Wii, trying to make the yard look as best we can, and trying to plan one kick-butt first year anniversary trip. Life just rocks here in the Orton home, and we're having so much fun trying to keep it that way. Like I said earlier Brandon and I are coming up on our one-year anniversary! If you can believe it, it's only in 24 days!!! Oh my gosh! Time flies!! We've had SO much fun, and I know I can say I am SO excited for all the other years to come!
